Synopsis

What does it take to be a champion? SPEED SKATE, a 26-minute documentary, captures the spectacle of the adrenaline-drenched world of this highly competitive sport. The film features the fastest young speed skaters in the U.S. as they train with their famous coach, Dong Sung Kim, an Olympic gold medalist from Korea. These young skaters — and their parents– devote an excess of time and money to their pursuit of making it to the Olympics. They believe Coach Kim could be their ticket to the Games…
